It happened by accident. Literally. I was 18 years old, driving my mom to work in a small town outside Quito, Ecuador. I took the wrong turn and ended up lost. I pulled over to ask for directions, and the man I spoke to turned out to be a Canadian TV producer. He was looking for a car like mine—a vintage Volkswagen Beetle—for a shoot that very day.

"Next thing I knew, I was on set"

They needed someone who spoke English to help bridge the gap between the Canadian crew and the local production team. So I stayed. That was my first taste of the industry: providing an action vehicle and translating across worlds. I didn’t know it then, but that day would change the course of my life.

I had planned to become a journalist. But film—chaotic, collaborative, unpredictable film—had other ideas. I was hooked.

Since that moment, I’ve never stopped. Over the years, I’ve worked on local and international productions. I’ve handled logistics in the Amazon, coordinated vehicles in high-stakes stunts, and solved last-minute crises no one else could. And for the last five years, I’ve been based in the UK, where I’ve grown into the role of Prop Master on some of the industry’s most demanding sets.

Two years ago, I launched a new chapter of my journey. I founded JP Films, a company that provides professional services to TV and film productions—specialists in props, art department support, and trusted crew. A few months later, I followed that with Center 0, my second company, born from a lifelong connection to action vehicles. I’d been working with cars since that very first day on set. Why not build something of my own?

Today, Center 0 is a growing name in the UK film industry—offering precision-prepped vehicles for stunts, chases, and cinematic storytelling. Together, my two companies represent what I love most about this work: the balance between creativity and control, imagination and execution.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Channel 4, ITV, and many more. From remote jungles to studio sets, I bring the same energy to every shoot: solve the problem, protect the story, make the magic happen.
